iA Writer (was iA Writer Pro) is a professional writing suite that gives you full control over your notes, drafts and edits.

What’s new in version 7.3.3

This update fixes a few small bugs. It includes all the great features in iA Writer 7.3:
# AI in Technicolor
Whether you proofread with Apple Intelligence, or paste from Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT, the generated text now bursts
onto the page with a colorful gradient. It looks as artificial as its origins. Think of it as a game: you got help, now
make it your own.
We also made it easy to tell different human contributors apart. They appear in subtle tones. And you can choose a
preferred color for saved authors in settings.
Reference material stays dimmed. Use this to see the changes you made to a downloaded contract, to track the progress
since your first draft, or when you’re not sure how a text was created.

MacUpdate hasn't updated their listing in a while; iaWriter is now up to version 7.1.3. After initially proclaiming that iaWriter was anti-AI and is for human writing, they've now incorporated AI into the app, which I'm not so keen on - I use iaWriter for creative writing and I feel weird sharing my writing using an app which now has AI 'baked in'.
